Student Art to Hang in U.S. Capitol Building

Caprock High School artist Haley Garber certainly wasn’t horsing around when she completed this charcoal drawing. Haley’s work won the 13th Congressional District Art Competition, marking the second time in three years a Caprock student has won.

Haley’s charcoal will hang in the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. for a year. Haley will also fly to D.C. were she’ll be honored at a special reception in Washington with Rep. Mac Thornberry, R-Amarillo.
